Water damage logic board repair:

Only boards with new or visible damage as determined by a Microscopic Evaluation qualify for the below repair.

Microscope Evaluation $15  Every board will undergo a basic microscope evaluation to inspect for visible damage prior to repair.  Only in the event there is no visible damage found, the board is returned as is and you will be billed for the $15 evaluation fee + shipping. We offer a wholesale discount for multiple boards.

$49 --cleaning only
$69--cleaning and re-soldering of visible oxidation damage, if present.
NOTE: if small components and/or screen replacement is needed they will be quoted separately.

PLEASE READ - Other Fees that may apply to your repair:

Bench Fee  $49  
If your board has visible damage and a repair is attempted, to repair the visible damage, a minimum $49 bench fee is charged only if the board is not repaired (regardless of reason). Even with 'visible' damage there can be 'invisible' and 'undetectable' damage which can render a dead device. No bench fee charged for boards that do not pass initial Microscope Evaluation.

Disassembly fee $20
If we need to take screens off, remove boards from cases, etc... we have to charge for this time. Send your devices with as much disassembly done as possible.  Some exceptions: Just follow mail in instructions to avoid fees.

Reassembly fee $20
If you need us to reassemble your device we will, but, we have to charge for this time. Some exceptions: Just follow mail in instructions to avoid fees.

Mail-in Instructions and Form:

1.) Fill out the mail-in form at the bottom of this page to create a work request about your repair. We will send a Paypal invoice when the   work is done.
2.) Charge and back up your device, (not required but we will not be responsible for lost data). Sometimes a device will have a problem and need to be restored, but usually devices can be repaired with no changes to data.
3.) YOU MUST INCLUDE PAPERWORK with the following info to match your incoming device to your mail-in form work request. Note: Do not send us devices with no paperwork in box. If we receive a device with no paperwork it will greatly delay your repair.

4.) What to send

• For iPod service send the complete device for testing, (no cables, cases, chargers etc...). You may also send the board only. If you send the entire device you will not be charged the disassembly/reassembly fees.
• For Kindle service send the entire device, (no cables, cases, chargers etc...). You may also send the board only if you prefer. If you send the entire device you will not be charged the disassembly/reassembly fees.
• For Samsung phone port service send the entire device, (no cables, cases, chargers etc...). You may also send the board only if you prefer. If you send the entire device you will not be charged the disassembly/reassembly fees.

NOTE: If you choose to send extra LCDs, boxes, screens, chargers, cases---you will probably not get them back. Send ONLY what we asked to send.

5.) Include with your device the following information: First/Last name, PayPal email address, Phone, Street, City, State, Zip, Describe the problem or work requested, and Describe device history i.e. water damage, dropped, etc...
6.) Securely pack the device, the above information, and send to this address:

7.) Once the repair is complete and tested we will send a Paypal invoice for payment.
8.) Once payment is complete, the device will be shipped back to you, and a tracking number will be provided.
